About Hillsdale Pediatric Clinic | Michael Sackman, MD.

Hillsdale Pediatric Clinic, led by Michael Sackman, MD, is dedicated to supporting the health and development of children from infancy through adolescence with a steady focus on compassionate, practical, and family centered care. Pediatric care is more than treating illnesses when they arise. It is about helping parents navigate each stage of growth with confidence, offering guidance on preventive care, and creating a trusted medical home where children feel safe and understood. Families seeking a pediatrician often want a place that combines clinical knowledge with a patient approach, and this clinic is designed to serve that need with attention to both the medical and emotional aspects of care.

A strong pediatric practice plays an important role in a child’s overall well being. Regular checkups allow clinicians to monitor growth, development, nutrition, behavior, and sleep patterns while also identifying concerns early, when they are often easier to address. This kind of ongoing relationship gives parents a reliable resource for questions about common childhood issues such as fevers, allergies, infections, school readiness, and developmental milestones. It also provides a foundation for more complex care decisions, including immunizations, chronic condition management, and referrals when specialized support is needed. Hillsdale Pediatric Clinic understands that every child is different, and that care plans should reflect individual needs, family priorities, and changing health circumstances.

Parents value a pediatrician who listens carefully and explains information clearly. Open communication can make a significant difference when families are dealing with worry, uncertainty, or a child who is not feeling well. A thoughtful pediatric practice helps reduce stress by making visits as informative and reassuring as possible. It encourages questions, respects parental concerns, and aims to provide practical recommendations that are easy to follow at home. This kind of partnership helps families feel involved in their child’s care and strengthens trust over time.

Accessibility and convenience also matter when choosing a pediatric office. Hillsdale Pediatric Clinic offers features that support a wide range of family needs, including wheelchair accessible entrance, wheelchair accessible parking, and wheelchair accessible restroom facilities. These accommodations help make visits smoother for families who may need extra physical support or added comfort during appointments. The clinic also accepts credit cards and debit cards, which adds convenience to the payment process. Because pediatric care often works best when visits are planned and organized, appointments are required and recommended, helping the clinic provide orderly service and focused attention for each patient.

A pediatrician’s role extends beyond treating acute illness. It includes preventive counseling, developmental surveillance, and support for healthy routines that can influence a child’s future. Guidance on nutrition, activity, behavior, and safety can help families build healthy habits early. Monitoring growth and development over time can also reveal important patterns that might otherwise go unnoticed. When parents have a consistent medical partner, they can feel more prepared to handle the challenges that come with raising children at different ages and stages.

Hillsdale Pediatric Clinic serves families who want dependable pediatric care with an emphasis on communication, continuity, and accessibility. While every family brings its own concerns and expectations, the goal remains the same to help children grow up as healthy as possible in an environment that supports both medical needs and family peace of mind. In a community setting where trust matters, a pediatrician can become an important long term partner in a child’s health journey, offering guidance, treatment, and reassurance throughout childhood and adolescence.

He is rude, and I do not recommend that anyone visit his clinic. He causes unnecessary anxiety for parents and children; he lacks experience and looks at women in a disrespectful manner. Furthermore, his staff no experience. His clinic should be shut down.

We originally went to Dr. Michael Sackman for our baby and found out he also treats adults, and we’re so glad we did. He’s honestly one of the best doctors we’ve seen. He’s very straightforward, knowledgeable, and never dismisses concerns. He takes his time explaining everything and makes you feel comfortable asking questions. He helped me a lot postpartum when I was dealing with some issues, and he’s been great with my husband and son too. I really appreciate that he focuses on finding the actual cause of things instead of just treating symptoms. His experience and knowledge really stand out, and you can tell he genuinely cares about his patients.

I went there with my 4 YEAR OLD CHILD. DOCTOR IS VERY AGGRESSIVE WITH THE KIDS. I’m currently working on making a police report on this place. Don’t take your kids here. This place needs to be shut down. Staff is horrible especially that rude short big lady with dead blond hair. She needs to get fired immediately.

One of the best doctors — he is very smart, professional, and always takes the time to listen carefully to his patients. He also calls his patients back and checks with them to see how they’re doing. He explains everything clearly, makes you feel comfortable, and truly cares about helping people. His knowledge and dedication make every visit a positive experience. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a skilled and compassionate doctor.
